What we do
Veteran UK Community is the news and information hub of Veteran UK, the largest careers fair in the country for veterans and service leavers. We aim to support the armed forces community at one of the most significant turning points in their lives: the move from military service into civilian life. Our role is to make that transition clearer, more confident and better informed.
With practical, advice-driven articles, career guides, employment insight for key sectors and other support resources, we help service leavers and veterans understand what comes next, whether you’re approaching the end of your service or have already transitioned and are looking for additional guidance.

Why we exist
Leaving the armed forces is rarely straightforward. Life in the military often gives servicemen and women a sense of belonging, identity and purpose, as well as a clear career path and stable income. Stepping outside that structure can leave even experienced personnel uncertain about their next move.
Veteran UK Community aims to answer common questions about what to do next, from how to find a new career that fits the skills and experiences gained in the military to deep dives on sectors that are especially keen to hire veterans. We also offer assistance in areas such as navigating pensions, injury compensation claims and practical advice on resettlement.

Our events bring together hundreds of hiring managers, training providers, support charities and welfare organisations under one roof. They are free to attend for veterans and service leavers and are designed to connect ex-service personnel directly with employers who are keen to hire them.
Who we are
